Workshops & Ceili Dances

Evolution Dance is available to conduct workshops for schools & private parties as well as call Ceili dances. Please contact for pricing information.

Ceili dancing is a form of Irish social dance. The dances are in many forms, for couples or threesomes, in lines, squares and circles, including several in four-couple sets. The dances, 32 in all, are good for beginner dancers. If someone walked into the room then they can walk through the dance. The word ceili also refers to an Irish social dance event with set dancing or ceili dancing, or both, and possibly other types of dance such as the waltz.
